The strong variability of the PV can cause instabilities in the grid. Using EVs to smooth the fluctuation of PV power is a promising solution. A real-time control of the EVs is developed based on the power measurements at the point of common coupling (PCC). The proposed control takes into account the stochastic distribution of the arrivals and departures times.
