Environmental problems and use of the Clean Production Agreement for their mitigation

This work makes an analysis of the negative environmental impact at a global and local level, generated by the commercial and industrial activities and the society. Besides, the research addresses existing environmental problems and the efforts made by Chile, with the implementation of the Clean Production Agreement in the enterprises. It stands the case of The Olive Oil Producer Association and how its behavior has presented a significant decrease in the level of water and energetic resources consumption, emissions and wastes generated by the industry, with the application of the Clean Production Agreement.
