To investigate the effects of studying with network class and find out the virtues of network class, one hundred and sixty-seven students from the same grade and the same college who studied probability at the same time were enrolled in the study. They were divided into two groups, one group studied with traditional classroom education form and the other group studied with both traditional form and network class. Questionnaires, conversations and tests were used to collect data. Much more students in the second group were glad to communicate with teachers. The ninety-four students in the first group showed less interesting in this course and got lower scores in the terminal test, while the other seventy-three students in the second group showed much more interests and got higher scores in the same test. Conclusions were deduced that the network class supported layered teaching, promoted self-directed learning ability, boosted efficient communication and improved scores in the test. The network class helped students to make progress in their study and made teaching more efficient.
