The current FR2 MIMO OTA test system supports a 20 cm diameter UE size. However, 5G services are expected to include larger devices, such as tablets and small-scale monitors, as well. We show that the best way to improve the performance of the FR2 MIMO OTA system is to increase the chamber size to support a 1.75m range length instead of the current 0.75m range length.
