The GDPR provides principles to protect the rights and freedoms of natural persons. Technicians, very often, ignore any legal references paying attention almost entirely to the scientific aspects. Indeed, the GDPR applies to any sector everywhere equally. Regarding drones, apart from the civil liability as a traditional area, the GDPR has a real impact on this domain both for the respect of the law provisions and for the concrete adoption of the principles, especially during the design phase.
