The dependence of cesium-137 accumulation on the studied regions terrain relief has been established. The dynamics of cesium-137 distribution in the soils of not cultivated and cultivated fields in Tajikistan has been investigated. It has been found that cesium-137 isotope content in the cultivated fields differs from the not cultivated ones.
