Physiotherapy can be used for management of various orofacial diseases such as temporomandibular joint disorder, facial paralysis, myofacial pain dysfunction, oral submucous fibrosis, and trismus. It is a noninvasive, safe, convenient, and cost-effective treatment option that can be used as simultaneously with other treatment procedures.
