The analysis of the dynamics of the main composition of nationalities according to the population censuses of Kazakhstan since 1897 has been carried out. As a result of the assessment of demographic indicators, patterns of regional distribution of the population with the highest natural growth were revealed; regions replenished due to migration growth and vice versa, with migration loss.
