The system is composed of two parts: (1) the control theory realization design based on a TI DSP chip, TMS320F28335 (2) the Xilinx Spartan-3E FPGA development board, used to simulate the induction motor drive system. It is capable of simulating components, e.g. controller, inverter, induction motor, sensor and load. This experiment simulation system creates responses that are identical to physical motor responses.
