After the end of the tsarist rule, the new administration was formed in Russia. Turkey has been closely involved with the change of management in there. Russia enough supported the new government in Ankara during the National Struggle. Our relations with Russia are revealed by Mustafa Kemal himself in the article published with the signature of Mustafa Kemal in the newspaper of Hâkimiyet-i Milliye which edited and published by Mustafa Kemal himself in Ankara. Atatürk’s view of the new administration in Russia and Turkish-Russian relations can be seen in different copies of Hâkimiyet-i Milliye. The writings such as “Relations Between Turks and the Confederate Russian Republic” or “National Army-Red Army” are important because it shows Atatürk’s view to Russia. Ataturk’s previously unpublished writings are important for reflecting new Turkey’s political policies during the National Struggle in Ankara.
