The study found that the surface treatment will affect the local stiffness, which in turn affects the modal frequency of the structure. Based on the theoretical analysis of local variable stiffness thin plate structure vibration, the effect of surface treatment was simulated and analyzed by ABAQUS through a diamond-shaped thin plate model. The influence of the position of the stiffness variation zone on the modal frequencies for different modal characteristics was studied. The sensitive zone of the frequency variation was obtained.
