Proposed Model of Thermal Management for Pure Electric Vehicles
The scientific developments and trends of thermal management approaches are supported by an introduction to the present thermal issues in transportation electrification. Modern trends in using different petroleum engines affect climate change and global warming, but recent automotive industries are primarily investigating intelligent thermal management and control solutions right now. Extensive analysis of the thermal issues is necessary for vehicle electrification to improve battery performance and life as well as vehicle efficiency. For the pre-production model or production of Electric vehicles, this has been taken into account when designing the battery modules and packs. Designs of different components are improving, and numerous challenges are now being solved. Performance, usability, volume, cost, management, and safety are all trade-offs. There are different components in the vehicles that require proper thermal management because not only batteries but all the power-electronics components dissipate heat. Due to this, it can impact the performance of vehicles. Therefore, electric vehicle electrification and thermal management are required. In this paper proposed model of thermal management for battery electric vehicles has been discussed.
