However it is known that for better performance in wide range of high frequencies, microstrip antenna is the best possible choice. In this paper we constructed a corporate feed rectangular microstrip patch antenna and converted them into array. The design, simulation and fabrication of two linearly polarized 2 × 1 and 2 × 2 element microstrip array has been done and comparison is made in terms of different antenna parameters like radiation pattern, return loss, VSWR (voltage standing wave ratio), reflection co-efficient, gain and %bandwidth.
