The method uses conventional amplitude measurements on two surfaces placed in different distances from the antenna aperture. The global Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is used to minimize the fitness function (functional) and the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) is considered to reduce the number of unknown variables.
