Recent progress of colored optical packet switching
Over 160-Gbit/s/port colored optical packet switching with field transmission is demonstrated. 10 Gb-Ethernet/optical-packet converter, arrayed burst-mode Tx./Rx., all-optical multiple label processor, burst-mode EDFA, and high-speed polarization independent optical switch are also introduced as key technologies.
