Confident proficiency in a foreign language is one of the conditions for obtaining a promising job in the future. The article compares the productivity of remote learning technologies and the traditional classroom form of teaching a subject in mastering a foreign language by technical university students in the context of a pandemic of novel coronavirus infection. Remote learning shows its productivity, provided that various psychological and pedagogical technologies are combined concerning e-learning, an example of which is given in the article.
