House Pricing and Corporate Social Responsibility

Some companies are responding by reporting on greenhouse gas emissions in sustainability reports. The Land Registry publishes every actual transaction price on the Internet by housing type for each postcode sector. The solutions and answers to decrease the environmental impact of business operations are discussed in this research. In this paper, we consider some methodological issues associated with the estimation of an implicit price for clean environment by including one or more pollution variables in a model of house prices.
