At the same time, keyword search over XML documents has been well studied because of its intuitive and friendly query interface. Consequently, XQuery Full-Text emerges as a full-text extension to XQuery to query both the structure and the text content of XML documents seamlessly. This paper proposes the extended twig pattern matching problem based on the semantics of 'ftcontains' expression in XQFT and develops a novel algorithm, XConquer, for matching an extended twig pattern.
