This study uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The subject in this study was a fifth grade teacher at the Pontianak Mujahidin Elementary School. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data collection tools used were observation sheets, interview sheets and documentation tools. The results showed that the learning implementation plan and the implementation of the scientific approach in thematic learning in class V of the Pontianak Mujahidin Elementary School had implemented a scientific approach, it's just that the 5M activities from the implementation of P1 to P4 learning were still not consistent.
