The current research is about studying the architectural characteristics of Qajarid houses in Tabriz to present conservation and revitalization plans for better adaptive reuse of these valued cultural heritage buildings. For this purpose, the house of Mirza Mehdi Farrashbashi who was one of the sons-in-law of Mozaffar ad-Din Shah Qajar has been chosen as a sample to be studied. Although it is important to conserve this house because of its architectural values and its beautiful ornaments, its adaptive reuse can also be useful for the preservation of the cultural heritage of East Azarbaijan, Tabriz in Iran.
