Furthermore, the HEV storage system alongside with the DC-DC controller part, play a significant role in the evolution of electric vehicles. To charge the HEV's batteries, this study offers a new DC-DC converter topology that combines a solar PV system and fuel cells as two inputs. These pollution-free sources create electric energy, which is stored in batteries and utilized for propulsion. In addition, the proposed topology and operation modes are discussed.
