The main directions of the accelerated scenario of digital development are revealed. The current state of purchase of machines and software as a component of activation of innovative activity at the Ukrainian enterprises is investigated, the state of use of information and communication technologies is analyzed. It is established that in the process of organization and coordination of production processes almost no specialists in the field of information and communication technologies are involved. There is a low level of digitalization of economic activity in domestic industrial enterprises, especially in the regions, which are in the top five in terms of average socio-economic development.
