The study group consisted of 147 parents with at preschool age disabled children and 157 parents with at primary school age disabled children. Information was received from the mothers about themselves and their wievs’ child rearing attitudes. Thus, a total of 304 data were evaluated. Parental Attitude Scale (A and B forms) and Attitude Scale for Spouses to Raising Children (A and B forms) developed by Ozyurek (2017) were used. Spearman Brown Correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between parents’ child rearing attitudes. CHAID analysis was used to determine the personal variables affecting the child rearing attitudes of parents. As a result, it was determined of the mothers had more tolerant and fathers had more repressive and outhoritarian attitudes for children. It was determined that the attitudes of mothers and fathers to raise children are similar. It was determined that the most important variable affecting the democratic attitudes of mothers is family structure, the most important variables affecting the democratik attitudes of fathers are number of children and the level of education of the mothers. It was determined that the most important variable affecting the repressive and authoritarian attitudes of mothers-fathers are father’s eduation level and profession.
