The mobile device usage has changed the behavior of people on the way they communicate, work, study, get entertainment, shop, and many more. There are many research projects discovered the negative effects of mobile device usage to human health. One of them is the sleeping deprivation caused by the over usage of mobile device. Sleep deprivation or sleep disorder has been proved as the cause of many problems. Some serious problems are physical health damage, low attention or focus, disorientation, low work performance, hypertension, and many more. This research aimed to provide a solution to mobile device users who have problem with sleep deprivation. To solve this issue, a mobile application is designed and developed to monitor and detect the mobile device activity. It uses the Android background service to detect the mobile screen event. The data retrieved from the background service process, will be analyzed using Bedtime Prediction algorithm to determine the duration of sleep and wake time. Additional features are designed to force the user to get to sleep.
