This proposed work investigates a simpler design of energy estimation along with unit consumption using low-cost high-speed microcontroller, which is carried out both with linear and non-linear loads. In the absence of a standard digital energy meter, a theoretical approach has been taken into consideration to calculate the measurement of percentage error. Though the unit consumption defines 1 kWh usage of energy, this proposed work has been implemented with a single unit equivalent to 10 Watt-hour energy consumption to read the data within a lesser time.
