So, the present paper shows a novel power system equipped by storage system based on SMES (Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage). The SMES can stores energy without losses and can generates it based on demand/consumption or fluctuation of load/productions. The proposed SMES is charged using PV system, then the storage energy is injected into power system, the SMES control strategy is based on PI controller. However, the DC-DC boost is controlled by PID classical controller. Simulation has been carried out for different scenarios: variable irradiation, variable load. Obtained results show that the developed system operates perfectly during all scenarios (charging, standby, discharging), also the equality of consumption and generated power is always guarantee.
