Hence, during the excavation process, in addition to the application of the appropriate archaeological methodology, the latest available research and analysis techniques have been used to document these archaeological remains in as much detail as possible. This approach is based on the understanding that only through a meticulous analysis of the data to be collected from the large number of structures and artefacts buried in the stratigraphic sequence can information be properly decoded.
