According to the established criteria, a total of 64 theses have been identified in the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education (CHE), 56 of which are master's theses and 8 of which are doctoral dissertations. In accordance with the pur1pose of the research, the study was conducted in the case study design, data were collected by examining the documents, descriptive analysis, and content analysis were used in data analysis. It has been observed that 44 of the postgraduate theses on problem behavior were written in the field of pre-school science and 20 in the field of child development and education. It was determined that 86 percent of theses were written in 2010 and in the subsequent years (n = 55). In general, the relationship between individual characteristics of children (social skills, self-regulation, social-emotional development, communication, empathy, cognitive skills, temperament, etc) and problem behaviors was mostly discussed in postgraduate theses. Moreover, relationships between problem behaviors and family (parental attitudes, interests, discipline, etc.), teacher (behavior management, communication, adaptation, etc.), and peer variables were attempted to be determined. Finally, the effects of three different educational programs and play therapy on children's problem behaviors were investigated, and it was found that these programs and therapy reduced problem behaviors in children. In 62.5% (40) of the postgraduate theses, the problem behaviors of children were compared according to their gender.
