Smartness dimensions in designing collaborative learning activities
The paper describes a game for teachers, aimed to support them in the design of collaborative learning activities for their students. The game features different dimensions of smartness. It is flexible as it can support training in various contexts and meet different training needs. Moreover, it can be played in 3 different versions: a paper version, a digital version and a hybrid/augmented version. The game was used in the context of a teacher training initiative and preliminary evaluation data were collected after the game sessions. These initial data confirm the game flexibility and capacity to adapt to different contexts and reveal that teachers appreciated the game, especially its tangible component.
