A Mathematical Model for the Analysis of Jet Engine Fuel Consumption during Aircraft Take-off
This paper proposes a mathematical model for the performance of a jet engine aircraft during take-off. The mathematical model provides a closed-form formula of the aircraft's velocity as a function of time, which further enables obtaining a closed-form formula of the aircraft's fuel flow rate and hence, of the fuel consumption during take-off.
