Reflections on Creating a Multi-Site, Mixed Methods, and Interpretive Assessment Project
Introduction In this paper, we reflect on the experiences of our research team in conducting a multi-site, mixed methods, and interpretive project concerning first-generation students and academic libraries. After a description of the context of the study and of our research methods, we examine both the strengths of the project and the challenges we encountered, with the aim of providing recommendations for library researchers who may be interested in pursuing a similar project.
