Fuel from the tank through a vertical cylindrical channel enters the combustion chamber of the rocket engine. The liquid flow rate is regulated by a throttle valve located at the outlet of the pipeline. The unsteady flow of liquid in the channel is considered when the valve is suddenly closed. The problem is described by one-dimensional unsteady equations of motion. A compressible fluid model is used. The solution of the problem was obtained by the Fourier method in the Mathcad application software package.
