It is pointed out that such a criterion plays a key role for assuring the efficient long-term operation of the system, since the spatial environment influences the equalizer circuits in a particular way. A new method for evaluating the influence of parameter initialization on the transient performance of nonlinear equalizers is proposed, which provides the foundation for a comparative simulation study involving several nonlinear structures.","PeriodicalId":205662,"journal":{"name":"EUROCON'2001.
