Empirical Modelling of Cutting Force Components in Turning
Dimensional and dynamical components of cutting force signals measured during the turning of grey cast iron, aluminum and steel allows are analyzed. The empirical models built on the basis of the experimental data approximation are presented. Similarity of some models obtained for the cases of different materials processing is shown and discussed.
