It is noted that lectures, laboratory exercises, and personal computer simulation give students the necessary knowledge and skill. The computer simulation of transients, noise, induced voltages in shipboard electric system, surge propagation in cables, transformers, and filters is suitable for EMC training and engineering calculations.
