Extensive studies of infrared absorption spectra and analysis of the X-ray diffraction patterns were carefully conducted before and after exposure to high energy gamma absorbed dose (5 × 108 rd). Results obtained indicated that acetylcholine bromide has higher radiation resistance than acetylcholine iodide and this was discussed on the basis of bond strength and electronegativity differences. These could be also discussed in terms of gamma absorbed dose damage and their attendent creation of lattice imperfections in combination with donor defect centres which are liable to occur pronouncedly for the iodide salt. 摘要
