This method operates through comparing the measurement errors in distribution system state estimation (DSSE) of different models in the model bank, which contains all possible modes of phase connection. As a first step, numerical study based on IEEE 13-node test feeder is conducted to illustrate the accuracy and computational complexity of the proposed algorithm.
