Findings show that ‘lack of vocabulary, lack of confidence, language problem, hesitation, poor knowledge, poor preparation, stress, anxiety, poor listening skill, fear of criticism, confusion, poor interest, poor judgement, depression, technical jargon, poor perception and overloaded information’ were communication barriers of engineering students. 摘要

本研究有两个目的,一是探究工科学生存在的影响其沟通表现的沟通障碍及其背后的原因。参与沟通技巧课程的工科学生作为调查对象。研究工具为开放式问卷。83名工科本科生参与了本次学术调查。采用内容分析法对数据进行分析。调查结果显示,工科学生的沟通障碍为“词汇量不足、缺乏自信、语言问题、犹豫、知识贫乏、准备不足、压力、焦虑、倾听能力差、害怕批评、困惑、兴趣差、判断力差、抑郁、专业术语、感知能力差和信息过载”。造成这些沟通障碍的原因包括词汇量不足、缺乏自信、犹豫、害羞、自尊心差、自卑、害怕批评、愤怒、语言能力差、舞台恐惧、记忆力减退、环境差和同伴压力。
