The IRAF ISOPHOTE / ELLIPSE tool is used to perform the analysis of the surface brightness distribution for each galaxy. The structure of a bar can be recognized by a characteristic change of ellipticity (e) and the position angle (P.A.) from the analysis of the isophotes.
