In this work, laboratory studies on a new filler material for cable insulation have been conducted. The influence of calcium carbonate and bentonite fillers on the dielectric strength of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) cable were analyzed. Polymer structure was changed during the processing and influence in the dielectric properties. Those specimens produce from both formulations were tested on dielectric strength under alternating current stress. The analysis result was further characterized on scanning electron microscope (SEM) and density for further confirmation. Dispersion of the filler is examined by using the scanning electron microscope (SEM) while the density of specimens is measured by density meter. Comparison is made between the result of measurement and the actual density of the specimens. 摘要

电缆绝缘的介电强度取决于绝缘中填充材料的存在等诸多因素。本文对一种新型电缆绝缘填充材料进行了实验室研究。分析了碳酸钙和膨润土填料对聚氯乙烯电缆介电强度的影响。聚合物的结构在加工过程中发生了变化,并对介电性能产生了影响。用两种配方制成的试样进行了交流电应力下的介电强度测试。对分析结果进行了扫描电镜(SEM)和密度表征,进一步证实了分析结果。采用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)检测填料的分散情况,并用密度计测定试样的密度。将测量结果与试件的实际密度进行了比较。结果表明,填料提高了电缆绝缘子的介电强度。
