The application of artificial intelligence to power grid dispatching can make the process of power grid dispatching simple and efficient. Moreover, it is an effective way to solve the difficulties of power grid dispatching. Taking the virtual dispatcher in the Lanzhou power grid system as an example, the application of artificial intelligence system in the power grid control was summarized. Combined with the actual situation of the Lanzhou power grid, the necessity and feasibility of the development of the power grid intelligent dispatching system were fully analyzed, and the concrete implementation steps and methods of the development of the power grid intelligent dispatching system were illustrated by examples.
