Application of a state-space based mathematical model in the Passivity and Stability Analysis of an Envelope Detector Circuit
In this paper the stability and passivity analysis of a non linear envelope detector circuit is validated. Starting from the governing differential equations a vectorial representation with state variables is developed. Then, through a direct application of Passivity Lyapunov’s Function, the stability of the circuit is analyzed. The theoretical work is validated by simulation in MatLab-Simulink and Multisim.
