Assistive learning environment for students with Learning Disabilities
Students with Learning Disabilities (LD) have diverse difficulties, often hidden or subtle, that affect learning throughout their life. As each LD learner tends to have specific needs that must be addressed; therefore the traditional learning environment cannot cope with the accessible and adaptive constraints of LD. These difficulties can be abridged by providing appropriate learning environment for them. We propose a path forward to build an Assistive Learning Environment (ALE) to enhance the learning experience of LD students in their academic life. The proposed architecture is at its initial stage of the research and may be refined in the future.
