Indoor positioning technology based on UWB has the advantages of high positioning accuracy and strong anti-interference ability. A personnel positioning management system based on UWB in shipyard has been studied and designed in the paper. An improved positioning algorithm based on trilateral location algorithm and a hybrid network architecture of WIFI and TCP/IP have been proposed. The indoor positioning system porotype has been built in Rockwell laboratory of our school, and the performance verification test has been carried out.
