摘要

UKRAINE ON THE WAY TO EUROPEAN INTEGRATION: A GLOBALIZATION CONTE
. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, national states are gradually losing opportunities to be self-sufficient not only in the international arena, but also in adequate response to internal national challenges. Ukraine, taking into account its geographical location between the borders of the EU and the Russian Federation, cannot afford itself to remain outside the modern processes of globalization and has a clearly defined strategy of European integration. The variability of the conditions for the integration of countries into the world community requires a systematic update of research on globalization and European integration processes. Globalization is a complex, multifaceted process of interaction and integration between people, companies and governments all over the world. The purpose of the article is to study the prospects of reforming Ukraine's public administration on the path to European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine as a conscious choice of the Ukrainian nation in light of the multi-perspective and controversial phenomenon of globalization. The article describes the dimensions of globalization: economic, socio-cultural, political. Some indicators of socio-economic development of Ukraine are analyzed, their dynamics is monitored and the most representative global indexes of social and economic state of countries are studied and Ukraine's position in the relevant world ratings is determined. The positive impact of globalization processes on Ukraine is determined taking into account the low level of GDP, which is confirmed by the results of the analysis of trade relations between Ukraine and the EU. The positive aspects of the influence of cultural globalization on Ukraine as a phenomenon of expansion and intensification of social relations, focusing on cultural diffusion, are also defined. The growth of the gap in the levels of economic and social development between Ukraine and the countries of "golden billion" is substantiated, which gives rise to a steady tendency a steady trend of migration of the most competitive and socially active individuals. This causes negative factors of globalization, like the migration of the intellectual elite and the growth of the shadow economy’s share. As a result, directions for improving the effectiveness of the success of European and Euro-Atlantic integration and cooperation with the IMF, in particular in the judicial, law enforcement and economic systems, have been determined
