Frequency domain investigation of passively mode-locked lasers with intra-cavity frequency conversion
A frequency-domain description of the dynamics of the multimode laser incorporating intra-cavity nonlinear elements for both mode-locking and frequency conversion has been developed. Numerical results show that nonlinear elements can drastically affect the dynamics of mode-locking.
