In the proposed scheme, the cache server detects which packets have been lost by using the additional information received from STB (Set-Top Box) device. And then, it retransmits these lost packets to STB device. An Effective Packet Loss Recovery Scheme Using a Cache Server in IPTV Multicast Service
In this paper, we propose an effective packet loss recovery scheme using a cache server in IPTV (Internet Protocol TeleVision) multicast service.
