The empirical results of the study allowed formulating the main problems of digitalization of domestic education. Socio-cultural transformations caused by deep technologization and digitalization of public life and social relations contribute to the formation of a new model of fourth-generation universities, in which collective and hybrid (human-machine) intelligence will be the key, creating new knowledge, and cognitive technologies forming new approaches will be the key technologies, methods and methodology of education. This, in turn, leads to the transition to mixed learning formats, involving the active use of distance and e-learning technologies in full-time.
