On Social Responsibility of Multinational Corporations:Essay on The Ecology of Commerce:a Declaration of Sustainability

This paper briefly introduced and reviewed Paul Hawken's book, The Ecology of Commerce:A Declaration of Sustainability. The primary thinking and ideas of the book argue that, to design and create a sustainable business model and bring it into the natural ecological system, is the only way to solve the paradox between business and environments. This paper addressed that the enterprises take responsibility for society must be voluntary. Based on Hawken's thinking, this paper figured that people should look on the multinational corporations more critically, and thought that to rescue the multinational corporations is to rescue human themselves.
