Further, the sleeve like structure has been incorporated in the same antenna and the impedance bandwidth has been extended about 20%. Now this leaf shaped patch antenna with sleevelike structure operates over C and X bands with about 4.5 dBi peak gain. The antenna also provides monopole-like radiation pattern and low cross polarized components in two principal planes.
